Things to note when making a pure version of ghost system

The leading idea of making a pure version: try to be compatible with all kinds of machines, try not to lose weight, and be as clean as possible.
1. Preparation before installation
Prepare a complete WINXP, 2003 system installation disk
2. Install the operating system (the following are all taken XP as an example)
1. Install the complete operating system normally. The system file format is recommended to use FAT32. After recovery, it can also be converted to NTFS. At the same time, it is recommended to choose a fully formatted hard disk partition during installation, and do not select fast grids!
2. Upgrade all patches normally on the Internet (some recommended patches can be selected as needed, but all key patches must be upgraded).
3. Simple system optimization and cleaning
1. Delete temporary Internet files and offline content in "Internet Options", delete cookies, and clear history.
Delete all files under C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\.
Delete C:\Program Files\UPDATE\*.*
Delete C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\*.*
Delete C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\*.*
Delete all files under C:\WINDOWS\Temp
Delete all hidden directories under C:\WINDOWS with "$NtUninstall*$" as the name format
Delete all .log files headed by KB8 and Q under C:\WINDOWS
Delete C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\*.*
Delete C:\WINDOWS\Installer\*.*
Delete C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\*.*
Right-click the C drive letter - Properties - Clean the disk - Select all - OK
2. Disable system restore and will recover after restoring to a new machine, which will not affect it;
3. Set the page to 0, "My Computer - Properties - Performance - Settings - Advanced - Virtual Memory - Change - Select No-paging Files - Settings" and restart. After restoring to a new machine, it will automatically restore to the appropriate size of the machine.

4. Delete the hardware driver
1. Change the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller, click "Update Driver" - "Install from the list or specified location" - "Don't search, I want to select my own driver..." to "Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE controller"
2. Change the content in "Computer" to "Standard PC", click "Update Driver" - "Install from the list or the specified location" - "Don't search, I want to select my own driver..."
3. Method to avoid local connection 2: Start - run -REGEDIT, then edit - find, enter "local connection", and after searching, delete its previous branch together. Press F3 to continue searching……
V. System packaging process
1. Copy to the root directory of C: disk, and click Backup after running! Click to exit after the backup is completed. Then import the registry. When the XP image is cloned to the hard disk, it will automatically recover when the system is restarted.
2. Open the \SUPPORT\TOOLS\ file in the XP or 2003 installation CD, first create a folder called Sysprep in the root directory of the C: disk, and decompress all files in the compressed package file to the c:\sysprep directory. Running "" can set your own personalized installation information. This step is not important, and you don't need to run the settings.
3. Install the power supply automatic judgment program.
Run the SRS8.0 file of the program, which is automatically installed and generates a sysprep folder in the root directory of the C disk, and then runs "" in the sysprep directory to start the encapsulation successfully. Then restart the system.
Before restarting, remember to put the boot disk in the CD, then boot from the CD, and clone the C disk with GHOST software to mirror it.
6. Start the CD production
1. It is recommended to use EASYBOOT software to create a boot disc menu.
2. Extract the EZBOOT directory in the startup disc downloaded online and open it with EASYBOOT software. No matter how you eat, you should modify it. If you really don’t know, just experience it and learn it slowly.
3. After EASYBOOT has made the ISO file, use ULTRAISO software to open the prepared ISO file and put your prepared GHO file in, so that you have made a boot disk!
4. Test the boot disk: Test on the VM (virtual computer). If it doesn't work or is not satisfied, then start over. If it passes, you can burn the disc and start the observation effect on the actual optical drive. If it passes, everything is OK!
7. Experience and suggestions
1. When installing the system, be sure to reformat the partition honestly and don’t be lazy. It is mainly to prevent the hard disk from being badly marked, which will cause unstable risks to the system.
2. The GHOST system is best made in FAT32 format. There are two reasons: First, FAT32→NTFS is easy and can achieve data preservation. NTFS→FAT32 is impossible. If you have to transfer it, the data will be lost. Second, GHOST's NTFS format compression is obviously not as good as FAT32's. It is also an XRMPVOL_CN system. After the NTFS file system is compressed by GHOST, it will be about 30M larger than the one using FAT32.
3. It is recommended to use a machine with high configuration for XP and 2003. Although this is controversial, practice shows that when using low configuration machines or GHO mirrors made with VMs are restored to the machine, many of them are found that they cannot be started. However, GHO made with high configuration machines finds that it has good compatibility <---->
