RecoveryWare is used to complete a simple and fast system recovery in the event of a disaster (for example: the machine cannot start; the system and important applications cannot run properly; the computer is infected with malicious programs such as viruses; recovery from hardware failures, etc.).
RecoveryWare's design goals:

- Complete multi-language interface, from interface to online help documents. Currently, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English are supported.
- There are complete prompts and confirmation processes before starting the recovery to ensure that users know clearly what they are doing and avoid unnecessary losses and disputes.
- Customizable process steps, support unattended recovery (skip the confirmation step, automatically restart the computer after completion, etc.).
- Can be used with various disk image tools. Such as: symantec ghost, acronis true image, paragon disk manager and dd, etc.
- Complete error handling process, custom error return code table. Once the recovery fails, the user will be promptly informed and other remedial measures will be taken.
- Advanced tools can be customized or disabled. PE environment based on Winodws XP SP2 can run most Windows applications. Users can add and delete various third-party tools according to their preferences and habits (such as: hardware detection, data recovery, burning and backup, virus detection and killing tools, etc.).
- At startup, execute user-defined third-party applications in the foreground or background to complete additional information interaction, management and diagnosis and other operations.
- Merge the user-specified configurations to the WinPE environment registry at startup to facilitate modification of system options and adding configuration information (for example: adding system services and input methods, importing configuration information for custom advanced tools, etc.).

The hard disk version is more convenient to use, while the CD version is suitable for more serious disasters (such as the MBR being maliciously damaged, which makes the hard disk version unable to load). Except for the slightly different startup methods, the interface and application process of the two are the same.
