Router settings beginners on the road---Router settings end

Router settings results
Before opening a router for the first time, be clear about what to do with it, as it will require you to complete an initial configuration conversation and create a "rough" configuration on the router. The reason why it is considered "blue" is that although it can open the interface, assign addresses, and set some passwords through the "System Configuration Dialog", it does not allow us to customize the I0S configuration.
For example, routing protocols and filters, etc. Through the "System Configuration Dialogue", a set of configurations can be quickly established on the router to get the interface to work, and to enable the 10S to start routing and (or) bridge. Later, we are free to modify the settings, just remembering that the proper plan is necessary anyway. It is precisely because of the planning in advance that the initial configuration of the two routers (Dallas and FortWonh) can be completed very quickly.
Most of the settings mentioned above are common. Of course, as for the specific work of various routers, it depends on the router model, IOS version and the protocol that needs to be run.
Connection interface
The router's interface must be connected to the network so that messages can be received, routed or bridged between different networks. The connection process is usually very simple. You just need to plug one end of the cable into the router's interface, and then plug the other end into a physical network device, such as Ethernet HUB or T1CSU/DSU (channel service component/digital service component), etc. Our exemplary internet network is ready to use Ethernet and serial interfaces to connect them to the corresponding network.
Finish
Now the router is configured and started working properly. The router's interface is already connected to the respective networks, and the network is also operating normally. In short, we now have an online network that is working normally! Article entry: csh     Editor in charge: csh
