Kingsoft Anti-Virus 20050123_Daily

Beijing Information Security Assessment Center and Kingsoft Antivirus jointly released the popular virus on January 23, 2005.

Today, users are reminded to pay special attention to the following viruses: "Cocoa" () and "Repar" ().

The "cocoaworm" worm virus is spread by email. The virus will download virus files from the Internet and execute them, causing the user's machine to face more serious virus damage.
"Repar" worm virus, which spreads through network sharing. After the virus runs, the hard disk will read and write frequently, causing the system to slow down and all disks to be shared, resulting in the system being unsafe.

1. "Cocoa insect" () threat level: ★★

According to Kingsoft Antivirus Antivirus experts, this is a worm that is spread by email. When the virus occurs, it will download the virus from the Internet and run it on the local machine; the virus collects email addresses in the Outlook address book and sends the virus as attachments to these email recipients; these poisonous emails are sent in the name of some famous institutions, so users are likely to be tricked into opening the attachment, resulting in virus infection.
