Win 2003 video compression installed

I just installed Windows server 2003 recently and I think it is very useful, but a new problem arises. When playing CS, there are no images at the beginning of the animation, only sounds. The prompt "Video cannot be used, vids: cvid decompression program cannot be found", which is caused by the failure to install the "Video Compression" component in Windows server 2003. Do it yourself now and add video compression to it.

1. On a computer with Windows 2000 or Windows XP, copy ir32_32.dll and these two dynamic link library files from the C:\windows\system32 folder to the C:\windows\system32 folder of the machine; you can also find a Windows 2000 or Windows XP installation disk, enter command line mode, and use expand D:\i386\ir32_32.dl_ C:\windows\system32\ir32_32.dll (assuming the disk letter of the optical drive is d disk) and expand D:\i386\iccvid.dl_ C:\windows\system32\ these two commands decompress the dynamic link library file.

2. Open the "Editor", find the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32" branch, create a new string value named in the right pane, and set its value to:; and then create two new string values named vidc.iv31 and vidc.iv32, and set the key values of these two strings to: ir32_32.dll.

3. After restarting the computer and running CS, you can see the beginning animation.
