How much bandwidth can each client allocate not only to limit BT downloads but also to ensure the smoothness of online games?

1. Generally speaking, the stand-alone bandwidth needs to be guaranteed to have 40-80K bytes to make online games and online movies smoother (that is, the stand-alone bandwidth after traffic restrictions should not be lower than this range).

2. Turn on traffic limits on the router, and the amount of bandwidth allocated by each machine is related to many factors. First, the bandwidth of the fiber optic line, secondly, the number of clients, and also related to application habits (does a very small number of customers occasionally use BT or a large number of customers use it at the same time?).

3. In common environments (some customers occasionally use BT to cause the network to "change card"), the flow control can be set like this: Assume that there is a 4M fiber bandwidth and there are 100 clients. In terms of flow control, you can limit the average traffic of each machine to around 100-150K (the specific algorithm is 400K/4 - 400K/2), which not only ensures that a single machine has a good network speed, but also ensures that no individual customers will immediately "change cards" in the entire network when using PP and BT downloads.

4. If more clients use BT at the same time, causing the network to "change card", the bandwidth occupied by each machine should be further reduced as appropriate (but it should not be less than 30K per machine) to ensure the smoothness of the entire network.
