The online neighbor cannot find other computer solutions

Since you can see your computer in your neighbors online, it means there is no problem with the network card and software installation. You can find the reasons from the following aspects:
1. Problems with lines or hubs
(1) Ping the IP address of other hosts and check whether the connection speed of other computers is normal. If it is normal, jump to the 4th step of step 2, otherwise perform the following operations.
(2) Check whether the network card prompt light behind the chassis is blinking. If it is blinking, it can generally prove that the connection between the unit and the hub is normal. Otherwise, check whether the two ends of the network cable are plugged in properly and whether the power of the hub is on.
(3) Check whether the indicator lights on the ports on the hub and other computer ports are in normal state. If it is normal, it means there is no problem with the connection between the networked device and the computer. Otherwise, check whether both ends of the network cable have been plugged in, and re-test the connection between the network cable using the network cable tester.
2. Other computer problems
(1) Check whether the network card lights of other computers are flashing. If the network card lights are not on, it may be that the network card is not installed correctly or it may be that it is not connected normally with the network connected device. Open the Control Panel --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If yes, delete the device, refresh and reinstall the driver for it. If not, it proves that there is no problem with the network equipment, or the network cable problem, and follow the method described in step 2 of step 1.
(2) Whether the protocol is installed, select "Control Panel"---"Network"---"Configuration" to check whether each computer has the tcp/ip protocol and netbeui protocol installed. If not, add the above protocol and delete the IPX/SPX protocol.
(3) Whether the IP address is set correctly. This check is particularly important when only the TCP/IP protocol is selected to be installed. In MS-DOS mode, run the IPCONFIG command and display the IP address and subnet mask of the machine (Subnet Mask) to check whether the IP address is on the same network segment as other computers.
(4) Whether the file and printer sharing have been set up. Open the Control Panel ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(5) Whether you are logged in as an identity, whether it is a Microsoft network user, Microsoft friendly login or Windows login, you are required to enter the user name and password when the computer starts. If you do not enter the user name and password and press OK to log in to Windows 98, but press Cancel to enter, then it will not appear in the network neighbors. Check "Start" ----"Logout" to see if the computer name is followed by "Logout". If it is displayed as "Logout...", it means that you are not logged in as a user. Click "Login", restart WINDOWS, enter the user name and password, press OK, and enter.
(6) Find other computers. In "Start" ---"Lookup" ---"Computer", enter the name of another computer, search, or enter the name of another computer in "Explorer" ---"Tool" ---"Lookup" ---"Computer". If everything is OK, you should be able to find the other party. Article entry: dnbm     Editor in charge: dnbm
