When we install a certain software such as QQ and Flashget, the system will automatically add the icons to the IE browser and IE toolbars, but we always feel uncomfortable when we look at them and there is no need. In fact, we can delete them according to the following method.
1. Delete the redundant icons on IE
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\. You can see some software content you want to delete in this item (note the right key value). Click right to delete it. After restarting, the icons will be gone.
2. Delete the icon on the IE toolbar
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\toolbar, find the content you want to delete on the right and right click to delete it. After restarting.
If you don't want to restart, you can find it in the Task Manager, end the process, and then click "File-New Task" to create a new task.
