Life philosophy——One more praise

The more people hope for each other, the more they want to give to each other...the closer they must be.

A few days ago, a friend and I were taking a taxi in New York. When we got off the bus, my friend said to the driver, "Thank you, it's very comfortable to take your car." The driver was stunned when he heard this, and then said, "Are you a gangster?"

"No, Mr. Driver, I'm not looking for you to be happy. I admire you for being able to calm down when the traffic is chaotic."
"Yes!" After the driver said that, he drove away.

"Why do you say that?" I asked in confusion.

"I want to give New York a little more humane," he replied, "only in this way can this city be saved."

"How can you do it with your own strength?"

"I just take the lead. I believe that a small compliment can make the driver feel happy all day long. If he carried 20 passengers today, he would be kind to these 20 passengers. These passengers were infected by the driver and would be kind to the people around him. In this way, my kindness can be indirectly conveyed to more than 1,000 people, right?"

“But how can you expect the taxi driver to do what you think?”

"I don't want him," a friend replied: "I know this approach is hard to come by, so I try to be kind to others and praise others more. Even if the success rate of a day is only 30%, it can still affect as many as 3,000 people."

"I admit that this theory is very popular, but how practical can it have?"

"Even if it doesn't work, I will lose no money! I can't praise the driver for a few seconds, and he won't charge a few less tips. If that person is indifferent, it's okay. I can also praise another taxi driver tomorrow!"

"I see that your head is a little naive."

"This shows that you are becoming more and more indifferent. I have surveyed post office employees, and what they feel most frustrated is that they lack the recognition of their jobs in addition to their meager salary."

“But their service is really bad!”

"That's because they feel no one cares about their service quality. Why don't we give them more encouragement?"

We walked and chatted. When we passed a construction site, there were 5 workers having lunch on the side. My friend stopped and said, "This building is really good. Your work must be very dangerous and hard, right?" The group of workers looked at my friend with suspicious eyes.

"When will the project be completed?" my friend continued to ask. "June." A worker responded softly.

"You must be proud of such outstanding results."

After leaving the construction site, I said to him, "People like you can also be included in the endangered animal."

"These people may work harder because of my words. Isn't this a good thing for everyone?"

"But what's the use of relying on you alone? You're just a villain."

"I often tell myself not to be discouraged. It is not easy to make this society more affectionate. I can influence one or only one, and two of them can…"

"The woman I just walked past is mediocre in appearance. Do you still smile at her?" I interrupted and asked.

"Yes! I know," he replied, "If she were a teacher, I think the person who taught her class today would be like a spring breeze.
