2. Block Taobao advertisements

Many annoying websites like to pop up a bunch of ads in our machines to increase their popularity. Taobao is one of them. Its ads pop up unscrupulously on your desktop, which really makes people feel insecure. We can use the bat file to disable it. For systems whose operating system is Windows XP/2003, create a bat file:

%SystemRoot%\system32\ C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts R>#kill taobao

If the operating system is Windows 98/ME, you need to replace the first line with: %SystemRoot%\system32\ C:\WINDOWS\hosts. The purpose of this bat file is to point all web pages related to Taobao to an empty IP, so your machine cannot access Taobao, so you will not see its advertisements, haha.
