A few tips to pay attention to when reinstalling the system

I met many friends, relatives, netizens. Whenever I encountered problems with my computer, I would ask someone to borrow a system installation CD and reinstall the system by myself. But the problems that followed also came. Let me give you a brief introduction to one or two things to note when installing the system:

1. Graphics card driver: After installing the graphics card driver, the refresh rate of the monitor is not adjusted, so that the monitor works at the default refresh rate of 60HZ. Long-term use will cause dizziness, eye aches, vision loss, etc. So, please do not forget to adjust the refresh rate of the monitor after installing the graphics card driver. Generally, the 15-inch CRT is adjusted to 800X600 75~85HZ, and the 17-inch CRT is 1024X768 75~85HZ. When the monitor is adjusted to above 75HZ, the eyes almost cannot detect the monitor flickering. However, please do not adjust the refresh rate of the monitor to above 85HZ. If your monitor has average performance, it is easy to burn the display tube. Therefore, it is best to install the monitor driver. If it is an LCD monitor, do not exceed 75HZ, because the image rendering methods of LCD and CRT are different. CRT does not refresh the screen to make the display image appear. The LCD can make the screen in the display move as long as the luminous particles are changed. Therefore, the refresh rate has no effect on the LCD monitor and will not cause fatigue.

2. Sound card driver: Many computers now use AC97-specific integrated sound cards. However, some motherboard drivers are not done well, and users need to manually install the sound card driver. Many friends can't tell which one to install on the CD. You can right-click on my computer - Properties - Hardware - Device Manager - Sound, Video and Game Devices, and select Update Driver - From the list or the specified range. The range you select is the CD: then specify the dirver-sound folder in the CD. This is higher than the success rate and correctness of the installation of the automatic search driver.

3. Check whether the computer's hardware drivers are all installed or are correctly installed. You can ···· Right-click on My Computer-Properties-Hardware-Device Manager to see if all the hardware on the computer are installed in place. If there is a problem with the device, there will be a yellow question mark or exclamation mark in front of the device.

4. Please do not connect the computer to the network immediately after the operating system and hardware driver is installed! ! , FTTB users should be able to unplug the FTTB cable when reinstalling the system! Because FTTB does not require dialing software to allow the computer to automatically connect to the network, this will cause the newly installed system to be infected with the virus again! All the reinstalled system will be wasted! Therefore, after reinstalling the operating system, please install the firewall and antivirus software first, and then connect the computer to the network. Once the computer is connected to the network, immediately upgrade the firewall and antivirus software and download the latest virus library file so that your newly installed operating system can be protected. For XP, 2000 users, please do not open IE browser when the antivirus software has not been upgraded. This will cause infection of two viruses: shock wave and shock wave. Of course, you don’t want the annoying system to automatically close the countdown dialog box as soon as the computer is installed. ~ Hehe~

5. If the system is infected with viruses, it is best not to format only the C drive, because the virus may also exist in other partitions of the hard disk. If so, you only format the C drive and install the operating system. Then the new system in the C drive is likely to be infected by viruses in other partitions of the hard disk, causing the system to crash again (I have encountered such a problem before -_-#). So if you are not sure what kind of virus your computer is, it is best to format it in full disk to ensure the safety of the new system. Of course, this is just my personal opinion. I will not do this unless I am absolutely sure, because there will be some "important" files in any computer~ It is heartbreaking if it is easily dropped:)

I am engaged in IT work, and computer repair is also part of my work. Let me talk about how I installed the popular XP operating system for you to refer to:

1. When the computer is turned on, press DEL to enter the computer CMOS settings. According to the different motherboard BIOS, you usually choose to enter Advanced CMOS Features, then select The First BOOT Dirver, set it to CD-ROM, and then press ESC to exit, select Save & Exit Saving to save COMS settings. The purpose of this is to get the computer started with an optical drive. If it is an original motherboard of Intel, the startup sequence should be set to: CD -ROM, C, F.

2. Install XP to drive C according to the prompts

3. Install various drivers for the computer hardware, then right-click My Computer - Properties - System Restore and turn it off. This wastes hard disk space and system resources. If you are installing the XP system of SP1, if you are not sure to upgrade SP1 to SP2, it is best to turn off the system and update automatically, otherwise there will be troubles of system activation

4. Adjust the resolution and refresh rate of the monitor. If the computer is using an NVIDIA graphics card, enter the graphics card settings of the NVIDIA graphics card driver and turn off vertical synchronization. In this way, if your computer is good, the graphics card driver will not limit your game detection number, and also choose the overclocking refresh rate. According to the resolution settings of the individual game, select the refresh rate of 75~85HZ. When you enter the full-screen game, the refresh rate will not change to 60HZ.

set up. Enter the internet option, select Settings, and pull the space of the disk used to 1M. Because computers now use wide belts to connect to the network, and the web pages are automatically updated every time, so there is no need for more space to save the old web pages.

6. Install common software

7. Upgrade the antivirus software, then open IE, and try whether it is normal for the computer to surf the Internet.

8. After all the software is installed correctly, make a CD-ROM file and save it in the last hard disk partition. If the system crashes in the future, just use ghost to restore the CD-ROM.

As mentioned above, reinstalling the system is not that simple and not so easy. I hope that what I wrote can be helpful to all my friends who are preparing to reinstall the system. If there are any errors in the article, please give me some advice and learn from each other.
