The reason why the "Weather" gadget cannot be used in the Chinese version of Vista system has been confirmed not because of the system language, but because of the locale settings.
1. Open Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Region and Language options in turn.
Set "Current Format" to "English (US)"
Go to "Position" and set the current location to "United States"
Go to "Manage" and click "Change System Locale" and set to "English (United States)"
After restarting the computer, the Weather widget is ready to use.
2. Click the settings button in the upper right corner of the Weather Widget, and enter the name of the city you are looking for in the "Current Location" text box in English or Chinese Pinyin. For example, in Beijing, you can enter "beijing\" or "peking\", and in Urumqi, you can enter "wulumuqi\" or "urumqi\" and press Enter to find the city you want.
3. Note: Setting the region to the United States through the above will cause the system numbers/currency/time/date, etc. to be displayed in English, and it will also cause non-Unicode programs (QQ, etc.) to not display Chinese characters.
You can click "Customize this format" in the region and language options, and reset the number/currency/time/date according to Chinese customs.
