In terms of security, 2003 has a significant improvement over 2000, but if you are still using 2000, please be careful to protect some directories, such as
c:\winnt\system32\inetsrv\Data
This directory has the permission to write to everyone by default, and hackers like to write *s to this directory.
What if this is prevented?
You can set the FreeHost group to deny all permissions to this directory, and it cannot be written.
Any directory you don't want to be written can set denial permissions for the freehost component to improve security.
