Lenovo LJ2500 trigger processor error error solution

A Lenovo LJ2500 laser printer in my office suddenly encountered a power outage when printing a file. After a call, the printer switch was turned on. The "Toner Drum Light", "Ready Light", "Warning Light" and "Data Light" of the printer control panel flashed constantly, and the toner cartridge preheating after normal power-on cannot be performed. According to the reference of the fault phenomenon provided in the printer user manual, this phenomenon is an error while the printer processor is running. The author turns off the printer power first according to the method described in the manual, wait for a while before turning on the power switch. The system displays "There is an error in the printer, and the system cannot specify the device."

Fault resolution: Because it is far away from Lenovo maintenance station, the author decided to solve the fault by himself. Considering a sudden power outage, it will generally not burn out the printer processor, most of which are soft faults. Therefore, the author decided to let the printer print the test page by itself: first turn off the printer, then press and hold the control panel button on the printer to turn on the printer's power. At this time, the four indicators of toner cartridge, Ready, Warning, and Data flashed a few times and the toner cartridge indicator light was left on. After releasing the control panel button, press the button again. The printer did not print the test page, but at this time the toner cartridge indicator lights off, and the familiar ready indicator light illuminates - this is a normal indicator after the printer is turned on. The author quickly turned off the printer power and turned it on again. He could hear the sound of the toner cartridge turning when preheating, and called up the document to print again, and the printing returned to normal.
