one. Repair without images in the front half of the printer print page
An HP kserJei laser printer often has no image on the printed page, and the second half prints the first half of the original, but the image is normal and has no deformation.
The fault phenomenon indicates that it is caused by poor paper supply of the alignment. Under normal circumstances, when the paper is rubbed between the upper and lower alignment rollers, the alignment roller is not in a rotating state, but in a brief stop state. When the controller receives the alignment signal output by the alignment sensor located on the scanner track, the alignment roller rotates, and the paper is sent to the rotating photosensitive drum, and the speed of the paper is sent to the linear speed of the rotation of the photosensitive drum. The front end of the paper is aligned with the front end of the image on the photosensitive drum, and then transferred and fixed, a printed page is obtained that is the same as the original.
When the printing paper is sent out in advance by the alignment roller, if the speed of the paper being sent out is equal to the linear speed of the photosensitive drum, the printing page will be blank with no image, and the second half will be the first half of the original, and the image will be normal, otherwise the image will be deformed.
As can be seen from the above, the reason is that there is a problem with the alignment sensor or controller, check the sensor on the rack next to the scanner track. I found that there was a problem with a sensor, causing the alignment roller to feed paper in advance, and then try to print the sensor, and troubleshooting.
When the scanner goes to the paper feed side, it cannot return to its original position. During continuous printing, the scanner suddenly goes to the paper feed side of the printer and cannot return to its original position, and the printer makes an abnormal "whatever" sound. The reasons why the scanner cannot return to its original position are as follows:
(1) Return to poor sensor performance.
(2) The controller performance is poor.
(3) Return to the sensor controller with poor contact.
(4) There is a mechanical failure in the scanner drive system.
According to the fault phenomenon, it occurs suddenly during continuous printing and is accompanied by abnormal sound, so it is suspected that the mechanical part of the scanner driving system is faulty.
Turn on the printer and move the scanner back and forth with your hands. It feels very difficult to move. Under normal circumstances, it is very light to move the scanner by hand. For this reason, push the scanner back to its original position and turn it on and observe. The panel displays normally. When the main motor starts to rotate, the scanner also begins to move forward. The exposure light is not on, and no abnormal "nothing" sound is heard during the scanner movement. This "nothing" sound is mostly caused by the scanner entering the end of the track and colliding with the rack. Under normal circumstances, when the printer is preheated to a certain temperature, the spindle motor begins to rotate. If the scanner is in the original position, it will remain stationary; if the scanner is not in the original position, it should immediately return to the original position.
When you turn on the printer and check further, you move the scanner back and forth with your hands. You find that all chains rotate accordingly. Under normal circumstances, when you move the scanner frame, you only rotate around the drum with the scanner driving wire rope, and the chain does not rotate. From this, it seems that there is a problem with the drum and the driving sprocket. They are both scanner driving components. The sprocket is located inside the drum. Under the action of the clutch, the driving shaft rotates and drives the drum to rotate. After disassembly inspection of this part, it was found that the ball bearing installed in the center of the wheel was seriously worn, and the drive shaft was worn out with a groove, which bit the sprocket and the drive shaft to death. In this way, when the sprocket starts to rotate, the drive shaft is driven, rotating with the drum at the same time, driving the drum shaft to rotate in one direction, resulting in a fault in which the scanner can only move forward but cannot return.
In order to completely eliminate the fault, after replacing the new clutch, install the other parts in place and the test machine will be tested, and the work will return to normal and troubleshoot.
two. The printer does not respond when sending a print job from the software.
There is an HP laser printer. When the laser printer sends a print job from the software, if the printer does not respond, the reasons and inspection methods are as follows:
(1) The power cord is not connected to the printer or the power supply is not connected to the power cord to make it securely connected.
(2) The printer may be suspended and the printer may be restored and woken up in a dormant state using software.
(3) The connection cable between the printer and the computer is not connected properly and the connection cable between the printer and the computer is firmly connected.
(4) The connection cable is defective: The cable can be tested on a normal machine to verify whether there is any fault. If it is proved to be defective, a new cable should be replaced.
(5) The wrong printer is selected in the software. Check the printer selection menu of the software to see if the correct printer is selected.
(6) If there is no correct printer port configured, check the software's configuration menu to ensure that the correct printer port is accessed. If the computer used is not a parallel port, make sure that the printer cable is connected to the correct port.
(7) The printer is connected to the converter that is set incorrectly. Check the converter settings and connect the printer directly to the computer to verify whether there is any problem with the converter.
(8) The printer should be repaired if a printer fails.
three. The printed page color is light
A laser printer, the printed page is light in color. The causes of this failure are:
(1) There is no enough toner in the toner cartridge. Check the amount of toner in the toner cartridge. If it is close to use up, replace the toner cartridge or add toner.
(2) Adequate toner, but the concentration is adjusted too lightly. Re-adjust the toner concentration so that it is suitable for its thickness.
(3) The photosensitive intensity of the photosensitive drum is not sufficient. Re-adjust the photosensitive intensity to make the photosensitive sufficient.
(4) The working condition of the photosensitive drum heater is poor. Check the working condition of the photosensitive drum heater to ensure it is working well.
(5) High-voltage electrode wire leaks, and the charging voltage is low. Check whether the high-voltage electrode wire has leakage such as in-connection with the fixing frame. If there is any, insulation should be done.
(6) The installation position of the transfer corona device has changed. Check whether the installation position of the transfer corona device has changed. If it has changed, the position should be adjusted to ensure that the transfer voltage is sufficient.
Four. Paper jam in the output paper part
A Canon laser printer, no matter whether it prints large or small pieces of paper, will jamm paper in the output paper part. The upper paper box is normal to pick up paper, only one piece of paper is rubbed, while the lower paper box is rubbed with multiple pieces of paper.
When you open the machine to check, you can see that a single piece of paper passes through the two paper jack rollers of the paper conveying component smoothly, but the paper no longer advances, and the lower paper box has multiple pieces of paper stuck at the front paper conveying component and parked there. It means that there is a gap between the paper jam roller of the paper conveying member and the paper conveying roller, and the paper cannot get friction between the paper clamp roller and the paper conveying roller, which causes the paper to stop moving forward. The reason for this phenomenon is that the long-term paper jam occurs, which causes the spring on the paper clamp roller frame of the paper conveying member to deform and loses elasticity, resulting in insufficient paper clamp force of the paper clamp roller, and no friction can occur between the paper and the paper conveying roller. Although the paper can pass through the paper clamp roller smoothly, it cannot continue to move forward.
The paper clamp roller frame was touched with your hand, and it was loose and deformed. Remove the paper clamp roller frame, replace it with a new spring, reinstall it, test the machine to print it, work returns to normal, and troubleshooting.
