Top 10 IE browser anti-black tips

1. Manage cookies well

In IE6.0, open the "Tools" → "Internet Options" → "Privacy" dialog box.
, here are six levels: "Block all cookies", "High", "Medium and High", "Medium", "Low", and "Accept all cookies" (default is "Medium"). You can easily set it by simply dragging the slider. Click the "Edit" button below and enter a specific URL in the "Website Address" to set it to allow or deny them to use cookies.

2. Disable or restrict the use of Java programs and ActiveX controls

Scripts written by Java, Java Applet, and ActiveX are often used in web pages. They may obtain your user ID, IP address, and even passwords, and may even install certain programs or perform other operations on your machine. Therefore, the use of Java, Java applet scripts, ActiveX controls and plug-ins should be restricted. Open "Internet Options" → "Security" → "Custom Level" and you can set "ActiveX Controls and Plugins", "Java", "Scripts", "Download", "User Verification" and other security options. For some less secure controls or plug-ins and download operations, they should be prohibited and restricted, and at least prompts should be made.

3. Prevent your own information from being leaked

By default, after the user uses the web address, form, username and password for the first time, he agrees to save the password. When entering the same web page and entering the password next time, he only needs to enter the beginning part, and the subsequent one will be automatically completed, which brings convenience to the user, but also leaves security risks. However, we can solve it by adjusting the settings of the "autocomplete" function. The settings are as follows: Click "Internet Options" → "Content" → "AutoComplete" to open the "AutoComplete Settings" dialog box and select the "AutoComplete" option to use.

Reminder: To be on the safe side and prevent some of your own information from being leaked, the history should be cleared regularly. The method is to click the "Clear Form" and "Clear Password" buttons in the "Auto Complete Settings" dialog box.

4. Clear the viewed URL

In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Clear History button in the History area under the General tab. If you want to clear only some records, click the "History" button on the IE toolbar, in the address history in the left column, find the address you want to clear or the web page below, right-click, and select "Delete" from the pop-up shortcut menu.

5. Clear the visited web pages

In order to speed up browsing, IE will automatically save the web pages you have browsed in the cache folder "C:/Windows/Temporary Internet Files". When you confirm that you no longer need to browse the web pages, select all web pages here and delete them. Or under the General tab of "Internet Options", click the "Delete File" button in the "Internet Temporary Files" project, select "Delete all offline content" in the "Delete Files" dialog box that opens, and click "OK". This method will leave a few cookies in the folder. For this reason, IE6.0 has added a "Delete Cookies" button next to the "Delete Files" button, which can easily delete the remaining ones.

6. Never be afraid that the IE homepage address will be modified

As we all know, modifying the default homepage address of IE is a common trick for malicious web pages. After IE is modified, it will automatically connect to the address of the malicious web page. The common method everyone uses is to modify the registry. In fact, just give it to IE simply
Add a parameter and the homepage address will never be modified again. The following are the specific methods and steps.

First, open "My Computer" and find the IE installation directory. Here, assume that your IE is installed under C:Program FilesInternet Explorer. Enter the folder, find the file, right-click it, and select "Send to → Desktop Shortcut" in the pop-up shortcut menu, thus creating a file shortcut on the desktop. If you are careful enough, you will find that the shortcut you created is called "", while the original IE shortcut on the desktop is called "Internet Explorer". Not only are the names different, but the "connotation" are also also different.

Continue our work, right-click the shortcut and select "Properties", and the "Properties" dialog box will pop up, select the "Shortcut" tab, and then fill in the "Target" box: "C:Program FilesInternet " -nohome, and add the parameter "-nohome". When entering, please note that there is a space in front of the parameter "-nohome". Don't forget, the input is finished. Click "OK" to exit.

This way, even if the homepage is modified, it doesn't matter. Opening IE will be blank, and even about:blank will not be displayed. Moreover, this will speed up the startup speed, and a little IE window will pop out immediately.

For shortcuts that IE builds itself during installation, we cannot add the above parameters to it. If you don't believe it, you can try it. Right-click the original IE self-built shortcut on the desktop and select "Properties". You will find that the "Target" column, "Start position" column, "Shortcut key" column and "Run mode" column are all gray and unselectable. This is the biggest difference between them! It is also the key to this article.
